Well, I use an elliptical machine for cardio so I 'll give you my opinion. Pros: It 's less tension on your feet since you 're simply doing the running movements but not having to land on your feet. Imo, it 's easier to breath on an elliptical than on a treadmill. If you have no endurance then elliptical isn 't too hard to get used to. They have different resistances, a treadmill does not. Cons: Your legs might feel like jello when you get off, if you 've been on it for a while, but this goes for the treadmill too. I think its harder on your knees than treadmills are. That 's all I can think of right now. Im not too sure but I think that treadmills and ellipticals can burn the same amount of calories.
