Question: Do elliptical machines work well?

Like how many calories could I burn if I used it for an hour? Is there something I can do that makes using one more efficient?

You can increase the resistance so that you get better results. The machine will show you how many calories you have burned, so I guess you dont have access to one right now. I loved mine but used it so much it broke. Just after the guarantee had expired. They are good but I need to watch TV sport or I get bored.
